Who’s in?

When you are in the middle of planning a wedding it is always important to remember those who are important to you and important to your life. Do you really think that you could forget them. That is why it is important not to invite the rich with good gifts but invite those who will love you and show you that love in incredible ways. When we have been set with the choice how do we decide who’s in? Is there a coin flip, or a drawing of straws? Or will you sit down and ponder for ours.

When I had decide what Bride I wanted to be in my wedding that was the easiest thing I have ever done, that to me is the only important thing. Everyone else does play a significant role but the bride is what the entire wedding is centered around and the obviousness of her joining her man too.. But in reality everyone oooh’s and ahhh’s over the bride because she is so beautiful.

I am certain that I have the bride that everyone will oooh and ahhh over. Still when I see her I get butterflies there is something about her that I do not know what it is but she just has captured my heart. Like Captain hook has captured Peter Pan and then we fly away to Never never land… ok a bit much i know.

So This can relate to life in many ways, in all instances. When we are deciding who is in and who to choose, remember those who love you. Look into your relationships and see why they are the way they are. Do not forget your friends who have cared for you even when you have not cared for them, Lets be honest Jesus loves us even when we do not love him.

Wed or Wedd

Either way it is both an abreviation and we are way to dependent on abbreviating things so for this blog I’m gonna stick to wedding. I was on google this morning and I typed in the wedding of the church in google images, and I got pictures of beautiful church buildings like this

Which is absolutely beautiful in and of itself. This place probably has so much history and worth it would be unbelievable to value all of this. I also got pictures of wedding decorations in weddings like:

Where you can tell people put so much time and energy and money into making this church look like the most beautiful setting for a wedding that anyone around has ever seen. After all at your wedding don’t you want it to be the most beautiful thing that everyone who comes has ever seen. It says something about your wedding when it is represented but such an array of beautiful decor. But it only vaguely compares to the overwhelming beauty of the bride in the wedding:

While the bride stands down at the end of the aisle everyone is looking at her, because she is so attractive but yet she is going to meet the groom. The real picture I was looking for was actually none of these I was looking for some picture that would truly represent the church body as a whole in a wedding with Jesus. This is the greatest “wedd” of all time, this is the one we are all waiting for, our moment when we can open the doors and step down the aisle and walk towards our groom. When everyone is looking at the bride the bride is looking at the groom and the groom is gazing back with the most sincere love of all. This is what Jesus is showing us, as we gaze upon him ready to be with him for all of eternity he is gazing upon us with a love that is almost so unbearable, we are trapped in the gaze of his love. And it feels so good. That is what I mean by the “wedding of the church” not the beautiful building or the decorations for the wedding or the dress or the candles or statues in the church. But instead I wanted to see a picture that represents this beautiful joining of Christ with his church, but I realize that this picture is not something that we can find on the internet but it is a picture in which we live out daily. The wedding of the church is the story of our lives, the story of Christ’s love set out for us every day as we awake just like breakfast in bed. We are truly treated like the princess to the prince. Yet he is the King!
